They are not a very responsive employer. I am a caregiver. I am directed to my coordinator with my questions. I email and leave messages, try to followup on issues, with return responses NOT in a timely manner. Even got told that I should not email 3 times in one day. Now trying to find support "after hours" to discover there is none.
If I could give them a negative I would. Nothing but Unprofessionalism. I have been trying to get things going with my father-in-law since May/ June. It is now November and nothing is done. I called the insurance company who contacted FreedomCare themselves to work it out. Still didn’t hear from anyone. I have been emailing Pam and Karen but never a response. If I were able to give Freedom Care zero stars, I would. The care giver who has been providing care for my sister since August, to this day, has not received any form of payment for her services. The insurance has tried several times to contact the Freedom Care "coordinators" assigned to my sister's case but no one answers the phone or returns phone calls. Freedomcare forces aides to take pictures of both themselves and their patient as part of their Electronic Visit Verification. Taking photos of the disabled, the sick and the terminally ill is immoral and disturbing.
