We come here at least once a month. We normally go for the prime rib. Very good but it comes with Yorkshire pudding that I never cared much for. Our back-up is duck which is very good. We finish our meal with chocolate fondue. Always a perfect finish to a great dinner.
Great dinner. Creative cocktails. Service was excellent. The prices very affordable. Lovely dinner and enjoyable time. Had the chicken and apricot entree YUMMY
Dinner was absolutely delicious we had the Sherwood Forest steaks and a steak salad along with Tucks onion bread and Tucks pesto bread. Will definitely return again. The staff was awesome and the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful.
Friar Tucks is one of the most creative restaurants I have ever been to. The fondue is phenomenal, but everything on the menu is excellent.
Came for the fondue for our anniversary, came back the next day to try other things on the menu. Love this place

The food is ok, the service and ambiance was great.
Far and away the best choice in the Nevada City area. Great place - lots of leather booths and dark wood on a historic side street. Very cozy. Our steak and French onion soup were first rate and the waitstaff was very warm and attentive. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.
We enjoyed a delicious meal of fresh halibut in beautiful tree room at Friar Tucks. Friendly and attentive service. Will return soon!
