Food was great , service was great , food and wine had good price points !!! Had not been in years , will not be that long again !!! Fun night

Bring back rib-eye on menu. That was a favorite! Service was exceptional.
A few people in our party ordered house wine and got them in small wine glasses. We were looking at the table next to us and they had large wine glasses, so we assumed they had ordered a more expensive wine. However, when we got the bill we were shocked to see that everyone had been charged $15.00 per glass for house wine. Either that is your standard lowest priced wine, which is outrageous, or the server took it upon herself to upcharge us for low-priced wine. Either way, we weren't happy. Great food and service. Booths are small and too snug for party of 4. Bad idea to go during Victorian Christmas celebration. No rideshare or taxi service available and no help from front desk.
It was our anniversary and we went during the week so it was very quiet. I think we had the waiter to ourselves and he was very attentive. It was great, the food was fantastic and the waiter was wonderful. I will go back here many times. It is rather pricey.
We love Friar Tucks! We always make a point of stopping by for a meal whenever we’re in Nevada City!
The staff was outstanding the steaks were cheap quality the cheese fondue was absolutely terrible the vegetables were dirty and the apples were all bruised the terrific staff and ambiance made up for it but dont think ill be dining there anytime soon every restaurant has bad days this may have been the case new chef maybe.
The food at Friar Tucks is always wonderful as is the atmosphere. Our server was great, and food was delivered hot. This is a great place to take out of town guests -it always impresses. It's one of my favorite local restaurants.
