I went in last week for some recall service and to check why my check engine light was on. Frontier Ford charges an outragous fee of $260.00 just to check. I figured I was there for recall service so might as well. So after recieving a quote to replace the whole turbo I told them that I wasnt ready to go ahead with replacing everthing and that I would like to pick up the car. I bought a 2020 Ford Escape from Frontier Ford and the Transmission started to clunk periodically at 30K miles when I would changed the dial from drive to reverse, I had bought an extended warranty because Ford only gives a three year 36K warranty and because I had the extended warranty I never brought it in for a Transmission check. I finally took it in for the Fluid exchange and the engine light was on, it cost $300 Dollars which has to be done at the Dealership because there are no drain plugs or fill spouts. Let me start by saying we purchased another Ford knowing that the service experience would be crap. We've owned many new vehicles from many manufacturers including Ford and told ourselves we would never buy another Ford but found ourselves comparing trucks and honestly the F150 was the best out of the group for our needs. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE. I bought a 2019 Super Duty Diesel from this dealership, the purchase was a great experience. I had it serviced several times and have had a horrible experience with the service department. I now drive all the way to Santa Cruz for my service because this dealer is so terrible. I inquired about a tahoe that was for sale on the lot and was very interested in purchasing but after dealing with the unprofessionalism of Mike the sales guy,I canceled the deal. Be careful with Frontier Ford in Santa Clara they are a rip off I brought my work van for a simple break job to be done break pads replacement while back they never fixed right van was not stopping right breaks was not working as it is suppose to when they new replacement, they said the issue was something else blah, blah , blah. just to demand more work to be done to keep charging me more of course when I told them my van was not leaking any oil period prior to bring it there they kept denying it, I ask for the supervisor... read more

Just picked up one of my fleet vehicles after being "Under service" for over a month, and two weeks. Unbelievable how I was unable to ever reach my "Service advisor", for an update. It was literally my job for the last three weeks to get an update from this guy. Also forget the management team, I called and asked to be transferred to a manager on two different occasions. The first time I came to this dealership , I was told to come back with a parent... bought a truck from Toyota later that day. Today, I stopped by to have a duplicate key made for a different vehicle, they wanted $450 and was told to make an appointment. Instead, I had a key made at Batteries Plus right across the street for $200 while i waited. There have been so many more frustrating experiences from over the years from this dealership.

They are the epitome of a sleazy car dealer in every movie you've ever watched growing up. Unresponsive to emails, place orders for builds you didn't order, unresponsive to calls, and add on dealer fees galore over MSRP. Ordered a Bronco and waited 2 years for it. Build wasn't even what I input but since the cyber orange color was being discontinued for 2023, I decided to go ahead with it to get it earlier.
