Our experience was terrible. Our reservation was for 7:30. We got seated at 7:55. Our server never greeted the table. We seat there for close to 15 minutes. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. When we arrived and checked in we sat at a table in the bar area and was told to move. We wanted to order drinks. I will not go back. This would of been our third time visiting Garrison House.

They were running late due to lack of staff. They did not fill water glass, waited 15-20 mins to even be greeted once at the table. No refilling of glass of tea during the entire meal, other than the manager doing it as the meal was over. Did not ask about dessert or tell me about them. They normally are great. This was a first experience of this.

As always, the service was great, however the food was not up to par. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and have come less and less over time due to the quality of dishes pushed out. sadly one of our favorite steak houses is now one of our least favorites.

Waiting time was terrible even with a reservation waited over 35 minutes for a table. Hostess was useless.

Service as always was very good even though they were short staffed. I ordered the Queens cut prime rib cooked to medium. The meat was cooked past medium with no slightly pink center. Generally not a problem, but the seasoning was so heavy and salty that it made it not enjoyable to eat. We will be back again and hopefully things will be straightened up in the kitchen.

Food was mediocre at best. Not at all what I expected at the price point. Everything was medium quality frozen/premade food. We dined Valentine’s Day for the prix fixe menu which sounded very good. Our “special” mixed drinks (Pillow Talk-vodka with chambourd and frozen raspberries) were basically a daiquiri with huge chunks of ice. We experienced an extended wait, and our 7:15 reservation was pushed back to around 7:35. The staff was great overall, Carlos was friendly and well spoken. We started off with the Bacon Candy Appetizer, that was terrific and is the only reason the food isn’t getting 1 star. My wife and I both ordered the Filet 10oz and 8oz for her. My family and I were hoping for an good Christmas dinner it was far from that. I have had better food in a high school cafeteria. No one dishes on the menu was even warm. The food was bland and some was inedible. There were 5 of us with a bill of almost $500 with tip and have never been more disappointed.
