Everything was good except one person's steak was not cooked correctly. When the waitress asked how everything was we told her and she took the steak back to finish it. It took 20 minutes to get the steak from medium rare to medium. We found out why when the steak was brought us by a chef who said they cooked an entire new steak. They did not ask us if we wanted to wait that long.

My wife's birthday dinner her fillet was overcooked twice our server was wonderful beautiful restaurant.

Waited over 50 mins for our food . The steak was okay . But the others side items you are better off getting at outback or texas roadhouse .. The rolls were also really soggy. But the atmosphere was nice if you want a romantic setting .

We love Garrison Oak but tonight we ordered our usual and the shrimp cocktail had changed. It come out and he was covered in some red stuff. Well we proceeded to try it and it was way too spicy. They had changed the way they prepare it and had put a ton of old bay season or something like that I guess to give Cajun flair. There was nothing noted on the menu about this to tell us it was different. And yes we did tell them! Our steak was good but just the meal tonight was not as good as in past.

Both times we have been here the items on the menu we wanted were not available and that's on the first open day of the week (Wednesday) which seems odd. The KY crab cake appetizer was very good! Everything else was not. Service is friendly, but slow. Food and drinks were not brought by our server so there seemed to be confusion in that process. I had eaten there once before and the food was good. We had a concert to go to at the hotel so we decided to eat there again. It was very crowded, but fortunately we didn’t wait longer than 15 minutes with a reservation. We ordered a soup to share before the main course. I asked for two spoons. I had to ask twice. We went there for our anniversary. We werew seated about 15 minutes after our reserved time. It took us about an hour to finally get or food. The food okay but the collard greens were soaked in vinegar and not worth the price.
The prime rib tasted like it was soaked in water! No flavor, not even a beef flavor. Blah! From the hostess and his flat mumbled speech and facial expressions. To the server taking over 10 mins to visit our table, to the server never checking on us. The salad was not correct. The meat was horrible. Drinks we couldn’t get another (bar drinks : FINALLY got a second drink glass of wine and bottle of beer). Bread rolls tasted like Arby’s rolls/bread. Blah Not great service or food. Won’t be back

The hostess was very courteous and friendly. Our waitress was exceptional! But the food was absolutely awful. Third time visiting and the food actually got worse which I didn't think could happen. My crab cakes were soggy and tasteless. My overloaded baked potato was all potato and no overload! Signicant others shrimp cocktail was fair with weirdly chunky cocktail sauce. I don't think I'll try for a fourth visit. Not worth the $$ or my time.
