The services rendered were sub-par, esp. considering that even using the Groupon, I spent a good amount of money.
I guess you get what you pay for. I went in to get a basic cut and walked out with super-short crazy-person bangs. I even brought in a picture of the cut I wanted and pointed to a live human being who happened to have a similar cut. The students aren't really monitored the way the website or paperwork make it sound. After butchering my hair, the girl had to spend 15 minutes finding an instructor to "fix" it (which isn't even possible once it's that short). I was there from 10:10 in the chair for my perm, she finished rolling me ( short hair) at noon. I left the salon at 3:30. I do realize this is a teaching school , but I had A Senior student with only 4 weeks left.to go. I think even though I saved money it cost me my whole day.
The stylist I got never introduced herself, seemed painfully shy. Also, I was not particularly happy with my hair.
Have previously had a pedicure @ Northgate and you should NOT offer a service if the facility isn't equipped. Hope MLT actually has the equipment. BTW, I realize that you don't teach this.
Horrible nail polish! They should have offered me a gift certificate because I had to go home and re do my nails and toes!!!
Please work on customer service and the attitudes of the students. There was too much of gossiping about fellow students and complaining about customers. I was very uncomfortable.
I understand that it is a learning situation, but it took 4 1/2 hours to get a haircut and a partial foil. Part of the reason was the lack of teachers on the floor, so everyone had to wait. The good deal was not worth 5 hours of my time.
Very inexperienced stylists.
