Let me start this review by introducing myself. My name is Jesse Jacobs, or QUINN as some of you may know. I used to work for the TACOMA GJ. At check in i asked the front desk girl about a friend i had refered who had come in the week before... I told her( my referal) had let the girl on the phone know that i had refered her and this was her 1st time comming to GJ, And that i had told her about the $25 referal card that she would recieve as well as myself receiving one on my next visit.I let her know that my friend came in and again let the front desk girl know about the referal and how at no time did anyone ever give her the $25.00 off referal card or even off... read more

I've only had haircuts here and they've always been great. The stylists are personable and never pushy about buying products which is nice, they just show you real quick what they used so you know what to get if you wanted to buy some. Reason only 3 stars is the front desk people. Honestly I only go like once a year, but for the last 10 years I don't think I've ever had a kind experience at the desk. They roll their eyes and snicker every time I ask for the largest smock/robe. Maybe they only have 1 size, but they don't... read more

Gene Juarez who?what? Such HYPE, is what I can say about this establishment:( I was not impressed with the services that were provided, especially for the price. Being that I use to go to the school in Northgate since an high school girlfriend use to attend class there, I am aware of the fact that your stylist will be different from your colorist etc, etc. It's still an odd concept to me but hey, I'm not a hairdresser. At first my stylist was amazing. She was really a gem and she was very capable with my hair that is the biggest pain in the arse to cut. She always reminded me to double book so we weren't rushed and always got me out on time, every time. Then she left. I've gone to four other stylists here besides Bree, all completely unable to deal with thick and not uniformly curly hair (even when I asked for someone to come out and touch it to make sure they were comfortable.) I had the worst eyebrow wax that I've ever seen in my life. I usually see Vina (sp?), but she was not available, so I tried someone else. l will never again stray. My eyebrows were uneven and there were chunks of hair that had been missed. After I demanded her to fix it, she continued to tell me that eyebrows are not meant to be symmetrical.....you know, I know that they can't be perfect, but they should not be 1/4" higher!. Beware!
