Through the years I've had several friends who worked at Gene Juarez and the senior skincare artists just got their pay slashed by an average of 60-75% (they went from commission to hourly pay). Apparently the staff is newer and subpar now since the established people left. I went for my last brow wax and wanted to cry. Ick. Overpriced and not great service. Try elsewhere. Super difficult to get scheduled, strange attempts at add-on services that couldn't actually get scheduled, inexperienced stylists, and sort of "holier than thou" vibe from the front desk staff. I was new to seattle when trying this place, got a haircut and brow wax and was underwhelmed with the results.
