I came to this location for the first time at the end of September for a haircut and bang trim. Sorry for the late review but I've been busy with school. Since I didn't know any of the stylists here, I opted for "any service professional". Piper was the lovely gal who cut my hair for me and it was probably one of the best cuts I've ever had in my life (not to be dramatic). Keiko did my nails for my wedding. I came to her specifically for a spa manicure and spa pedicure because I knew that not only is she talented but also that she is gentle and safe. My nails were beautiful for my special day and the experience was fun and relaxing. Due to COVID, my large wedding plans turned into a small elopement. I would highly recommend Gene Juarez Salon & Spa. Collin T did an amazing job and my hair has never looked better!! Thank you so much!! The location is also great since it's in U-Village there is ample parking!

I've been to a few GJ locations but this is my favorite. It's tucked away in a corner of U-Village, and I've wondered if maybe people don't realize it's there. The artists and the overall vibe here are chill even when it's busy, as opposed to downtown which has overly loud music and a frenetic energy. Collin is awesome! I've gotten my haircut by him a couple of times now and have been happy each time. I normally go to the downtown salon for color and go to the U Village salon just to get my haircut. Colin is great to talk to and the time flies by when I'm there.

I have been going to see Alexis for the past few haircuts, and have been extremely pleased with how my hair looks. One of the best styles I've ever had. Alexis is super talented, understands what I want, and is able to create it. She is also just a delightful young woman, interesting and interested, and remembers both how to a style my hair, and personal details. I highly recommend Alexis to create that style you have always wanted.

My first experience at a Gene Juarez salon was amazing. I made a text inquiry late Wednesday night after business hours regarding a special occasion styling. Someone responded right away first thing the following morning and I was able to book an appointment for that coming Friday. I love Donni and they way she colors my hair. She is also the best in blow drying and styling my hair too. She took my damaged hair and transformed it. I will never go to another colorist. Donni is the best. She works during the weekends, so she gets booked fast.
