I went to this dentist 1 year ago and i am still in pain. I am a big muscle guy and have a huge pain tolerance. I never worried about the dentist before or drills etc... This dentist (female) did such a poor job, my fillings started to fall out a couple weeks after, they re-drilled my teeth to replace their shoty work and re-drilled even deeper so deep they went down to the soft marrow area and now i have been in constant pain and this is one year later!! No one need fear no more for I have filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and i suggest everyone else do the same. Its super easy and you can do it on the web in about 2 min.
WOW, I just got back from their office and they are out of their minds. I had an appointment, but i had to use the office's phone to confirm visit with my insurance. The crazy office manager XIOMARA comes and doesn't even know what is going on and decides to place my call on hold, and told me to use another phone. Not only was her tone rude but she also said for me to get out since i'm not eligible! I thought living in Irvine, we had the best service offered across the board. So naturally, I didn't question the services this place had to offer. My husband has a great insurance plan from a phenomenal insurance company. When we walked through the door, we noticed their staff lounging around in the waiting room simply talking. BEWARE! These guys are scammers! they don't care about you, your teeth or your time. All of the other reviewers were right ... stay away! I went to a different dentist 4 months ago and my teeth were perfectly fine. The only reason why I switched to Gentle Dental was that they were right down the street from my work and I needed a dentist closeby so that I could go during the week and in the middle of the day. Listen to the other reviewers. This is their MO. They perform a full mouth ex-ray...and quickly have you sign off on a "Pre-treatment review", which I later learned is not a prior uathorization for services from an insurance company, but it is a system that allows you and your dentist to know in advance what the estmated benfits payable would be. BUT WAIT-Gental Dental is not on your side, they should recommend to you to wait to have any procedures done until you have submited the" treatment review" to your insurance, so... read more
DO NOT GO TO GENTLE DENTAL! I went to this place from 04-06. The poster below me basically sums it up, but I'll write my horrible experience there. 1. In the 2 years that I have been going to this awful place, I have spent more than 8k. ( They made me think I needed a lot of dental work). One dentist did a filling on my front upper tooth and after a month it got infected (Worst pain ever!!!). One word comes to mind when attempting to describe this place...SCAM! I repeat, this is a SCAM. Let's face it, going to the dentist is not fun for anyone.
