Pros - They lived up to their name and were very kind and gentle during my procedures. Cons - They really pressured me to get a very deep cleaning with special antibiotic inserts that cost me a small fortune. I've always had a good bill of dental health and I am certain the extent of these procedures was entirely NOT necessary. Worse yet, they tried to do this to me twice. Stay away from this Dentist at all costs! I went for the first time back in March, 2011. Staff is very rude. They are not GENTLE during your check up. My teeth hurt after my appointment they were so rough. They force things on you that you really don't need like this so called "Deep Cleaning" that's a total waste of $70. This stupid ass dentist kept me there for 3 hours for a routine cleaning and x-rays. And I have good teeth, never had a cavity in my life and I'm 39! I went to Gentle Dental for a check up. They said I needed over $900.00 dollars of work done right then and there. I should have gotten a second opinion at that time but I was in a hurry and went ahead and had the treatments done. I had gone to a previous dentist about 6 months prior and they never indicated that I needed all this work. On top of the $900.00 they said I needed other type of dental work done which would have amounted to over $8000.00 dollars. The WORST dental office ever. They should be car salesman. They try to strong arm me into paying for services I don't need. First time I was there they took 18 x-rays, then 6 months later for my second cleaning they wanted to take more x-rays which I refused. Dentist said she couldn't clean my teeth with out more xrays. We argued and she finally cleaned my teeth and made me pay $40.00 co-payment instead of $5.00. I opened my yelp account just to help warn people about this unethical dentist. Please do not go here, they are highly unprofessional. I chose Gentle Dental because they were on my insurance list of approved dentists. What a mistake, I generally love going to the dentist and left this place in tears I was so frustrated. - DO NOT trust their diagnosis that you "have gum problems and need a special deep cleaning". The reviews here all are true. Was there this morning - and what a waste of time. Same scam and scare tatics about gum issues and disease. Wanted $900 for special teeth cleaning - and i have dental insurance. WTF. The kicker is - that they refused my regular cleaning service since they didn't want to be fined by my insurance for providing service that was inadequate to their recommendation. I do not recomend this place at all, I am totally dissapointed of their services and Dentist, I made an appointment for cleanning only they don't communicate with you of their procedure they took X-rays to make a detail exam before cleaning, which I didn't mind at all at the beginning; however, I had to wait for a long time after they took the X-rays to tell me that I needed work, and that they need it to do my cleaning on a next appointment & work as well, I took off work so early to schedule this appointment to be on time ... read more

STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS DENTAL OFFICE. Even the Better Business Bureau gives them an F! Not only did they provide sub-par and unnecessary dental treatment, they keep sending me bills, without proper ADA dental codes as I've requested for insurance purposes, and they have now referred this to a collection agency. I only wish I had gone to Yelp before going to this Dental office. Boy what a big mistake! Waste of 2 hours of my life! If I could give negative stars I totally would. I told them what I was coming in for and made an appointment exactly for that. Clarified agreed to and then when there refused to give me a general cleaning and said they would ONLY do a Deep Cleaning. Okay. So how much is that? I get a bill for almost $900 (my cost)!!!
