I thought it was ok... and 2 months later the new onlay falls off again. Ugh. They wanted to do another one this time with a supervisor. I asked if there were other options as I was not comfortable with that and was told she would call me back.. she didn't. HUGE RIPOFF/SCAM ARTIST/DENTAL OFFICE Complete BS!!!!!!! I literally came here, I don't know MONTHS ago-I literally cannot even remember(it honestly was probably over a year ago). Today I received a bill for $83. WTF is that? I have insurance which apparently they did NOT bill and did NOT NOTIFY me that I had to pay out of pocket? For what? It's been years since this happened, I had a typical root canal but the idiot receptionist decided it would be amazing to ask me trivial questions about having more work done. I told her and the dentist that this was an emergency. Why go here when Yelp has so many other dentists with better reviews? Like a dummy, I booked a cleaning here before consulting the trusty Yelp. They sold me on a "deep cleaning" just like all of the other suckers that have reviewed this place. Totally unnecessary and an absolute waste of my money and time. They also told me I needed 3 fillings... Guess what? I've taken my business elsewhere (to professionals) and there is nothing about my dental hygiene that warrants deep cleanings or fillings. It's been 6 months and I've been called several times, even after I asked to be taken off the call list EVERY SINGLE TIME due to the abysmal experience I've had. I'm VERY upset they are ignoring my requests to not be contacted anymore by them.
I would give zero, if it weren't for Loc the hygienist. Give me a break!I am so tired of them trying to upsell me each and every time I walk into the office. "You need braces" (really? I'm in my 50s); "you need all your crowns replaced" (really? they are not giving me ANY trouble) they ALWAYS quote me between $2,500 and $5,000 for dental work when all I came for was my quarterly ($65) cleaning. I have never written a review in my life, but my experience was so awful I feel that I need to help people know what they are getting themselves into. I should have looked at the reviews here before scheduling an appointment, that was my mistake. Everything people are saying is true. I went in thinking I was going to get a regular check up and cleaning, but they poked and prodded me telling me I needed a deep cleaning and had 7 cavities. Worst place for kids!! Do not bring your children here!! Not only did they not properly check my children's teeth, but charged me double. Brought my kids in to Irvine, but apparently the Costa Mesa dental office is set up for kids and never made me aware. Turns out my son needed a root canal at 3 and half!! Pros - good way to use up your dental insurance coverage (hope you hear the sarcasm in that statement) Cons - they do not provide pediatric dental services but will take your toddler's appointment without question and bill your insurance. Scheduled an appointment with Gentle Dental because Metlife listed them as a Pediatric Dentist. Little did we know, they aren't specialized enough to provide pediatric care.
