This place is the absolute worst. My first visit they pushed deep cleaning on me. I do admit that it helped in my case, but they wanted me to go the most expensive route possible and I had to forcibly turn down THREE other expensive treatments they wanted me to do that were not needed. Very poorly run business. I have called a number of times with a question regarding an account. The last two calls I was PROMISED I would get a response. To date - and weeks later - I still have not heard from Gentle Dental. Time for my family member to move on to someone else. Deserve zero stars in my book.

I never went to this office without having a significant wait. I always ended up in the exam chair waiting an extra 20 minutes to an hour between the office manager, dentist and hygienists. At my last visit, they actually didn't realize-or forgot-I was in the chair waiting for my procedure. I was 5 months pregnant and being left while not being able to eat or drink was completely inappropriate. I decided that was my last visit. Went for a consult paid through my work dental plan. Gentle Dentle is extremely overpriced. Nice dentist lady but quoted $4,500 for work that Tustin dentist charged $1,500. X-rays were poorly done so next dentist couldn't even use them. When I saw the quote I knew I was being suckered. Sad indeed. Welcome to Irvine. Bleh.

Every bad review is right....they charge you for a deep cleaning for about $260..you pay this, not your ins. co.!!! what a rip off!!!

I'd give less than half a star if possible. DONT GO TO THIS DENTIST. This place consistently has bad service and I've learned my lesson and will be moving on and finding a new dentist. What everyone says below is true. My cleaning appt took over 2.5 hours due to waiting times as I was shuffled from room to room. At checkout, they acted like 2.5 hours was normal. I created a YELP account just so I could post this about this Dental office. The dentists are paid on COMMISSION, which I only discovered this after doing my research after having such a horrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE. If you LOVE car salesmen or like being tricked into buying unnecessary things then go here. I created this YELP account just for this Dental office. I agree w/everyone that's written a review about Gentle Dental. The staff there are rude, lack follow-up, they over charged you so much in comparison to other dentist and the work is subpar. I will never go back.

OK, I don't even think I've EVER EVER had a 1 star review but I just want to let the public know..... STAY AWAY! Not only do I feel totally ripped off by them but they seriously effed up and did SHOTTY work to the point where I had to get MORE work done by another dentist. The dentist who fixed the work said "did they just slab that on or what?" HORRIBLE and I do not support businesses/people who do shady work. Sorry! Just being completely honest.
