Poor customer service, they have no regard for care, just what ever they can bleed out of your insurance and leave you with nothing. Prime examples of what is wrong with health care.
Went to office as a new patient thinking they were following covid guidelines. None of the front desk staff had masks on. Waited for a long time in the waiting room since no one was there. Four people came in with no masks, was getting nervous and thought about going out to my car but felt the office should have been doing more for the safety of their patients so I left. Now have to find a dentist with better protocols in place.
Whoever is intending to go to this dental place, I cannot recommend it at all. Their business model from my point of view is totally immoral and careless towards the patient. When I first called this clinic, my idea was to do a regular cleaning. They started doing the X-Rays without my permission or request; I asked if this was going to be part of the cleaning, they said "no, this is only the first appointment". I was charged and assessment fee of $50 to get x-rays and have a tooth looked at that I needed pulled. I had a toothache I was in a lot of pain once they looked at it they told me the oral surgeon would have to look at it in there was an additional $175 acessment fee before I can even get any work done and I thought that $175 was a little bit excessive so I declined and I ended up paying $50 for nothing I felt like I could have been told that ahead of time when I made the appointment because I was asking certain questions ab... read more
My husband went to Gentle Dental to have an infected wisdom tooth removed. They were not gentle by any means. It was very unfeeling and like an assembly line! I told them that his tooth was infected and they said he wouldn't feel anything once he got the shot but as soon as they started cutting into him they admitted that because of the infection the numbing shots don't work. Run as far and as fast as you can! It was cheaper to go to another dentist (highly rated) than it was to pay our insurance deductibles!! They wanted $800 to CLEAN my teeth, and I thought, ok, it has been a while, and I scheduled it to be done. Then, I brought my son in, who had been regularly to a dentist, and they claimed the same thing........we ran. It was $85 cash to do the same cleaning.
This place is non professional..not organized, and they do not practice safe 3rd party rules and regulations for safely cleaning germs from being transferred to patients. Showed up today for scheduled 9am appt. (2nd visit and last time) Waited 20 minutes and my preferred hygienist. Jeanine was replaced without my knowledge.
Make sure you check prices before they do procedures. They overcharge you and use codes not covered by your insurance company, Case in point My wife got charged $1000 for a 30 minute root canal, after Insurance, $530 of that was for a charge NOT Recommended by the Endodontist's of America. DO NOT GO HERE. This is the worst dental office I've been to. The front office ladies are inconsiderate. And the dentists are only there to profit off people. They charge more than your insurance rates are and refuse to only charge what your insurance rates are. I had 2 crowns done in the same day per the dentist less than a year ago. Only 2 weeks later I returned saying I was in pain and I didn't feel the crown on top sealed completely. I was told all was fine.
