Don't hesitate to contact Gentle Dental if you are looking for top-notch care, without the new salesmen approach a lot of dentists are taking. Dr. Lawhorne won't try to sell you what you don't need (one prior dental office suggested I get pre-cavity fillings, just in case, at $300 bucks a pop). They treat you very professionally, from the front desk to the entire team. My entire family is in Gentle Dental's care, including orthodontia. I've never been disappointed. These guys are the best! Crissea at the front desk is wonderful at greeting me by name every time I come in. Patti, Casey and Dr. Lawhorne are absolutely great at what they do. I highly recommend this office! Keep up the good work guys

This office has amazing people working there. They are so friendly and helpful. And regardless of what procedure I have done the Doctor always calls me to see how I am doing. You wont find a better dentist in this area
The assistants, hygienists and dentist are all so sweet! They talk to you a lot to really get to know you and make you feel very special. I have "dental anxiety" and they are very empathetic and actually the first dentists office they didn't shame me or make me feel stupid for it! AND they offer nitrous for only $40 a visit, so cheap! Oh and a week after my first visit with them they sent me a hand written and personal letter thanking me for coming in and wishing me luck with my upcoming wedding, how awesome is that?!
I don't have one bad thing to say about Dr. Lawhorn and his team. They go over and above providing excellent care, they also made sure to drop off my cell phone after they closed. I can not thank Dr. Lawhorn, Casey, Tiffany, Emma and Joy enough.
Dr lawhorne and Cassandra were very nice and accommodating to my wisdom tooth. Very knowledgable and were carful around my pain areas.

I had a wonderful dentist that retired. I went to a new dental office and it was miserable. I then got a recommendation for Gentle Dental. The office staff is amazing, always smiling and helpful. My dentist is amazing. He always keeps me well informed and makes sure I am comfortable. I love the communication and politeness of every person there. This a great since I do have anxiety about dental work, but here I feel relaxed and well taken care of.
Tiffany Becker is the best dental assistant Ever! Thanks to her my experience is always the best. This place is a 10 star as far as I am concerned. Highly recommended. I have been going there for years and they always take great care of me.
I went to gentle dental on 176th in Puyallup. I had the greatest experience with Dr. Lawthorn and Tiffany. From the minute i entered the office, i was treated with welcoming gestures. Dr. Lawthorn and Tiffany were extremely professional and they did everything to ensure that my comfort has been met and my visit was a positive one. Basically, in comparison with military dentists, Dr. Lawthorn and Tiffany ensured that i had the best dental experience ever.
