My kids had an appointment on the same day, my husband and I missed work all to get a call at 7am that they couldn't see any of my 3 kids. I had already missed work and they couldn't even help me with checking to see other locations that might be able to see my kids, they told me to call around....They messed with my schedule and weren't willing to fix it. Active Duty Military family that used Gentle Dental Orthodontist for two of my children. I paid a large percentage of the orthodontics up front. I should have read the fine print in detail but 80% of what I paid was withhold because the military exception clause did not apply (we have used 5 different orthodontist in the military and this is the only one with this policy). O my goodness the dentist was great but the billing staff was the worst I ever dealt with in my whole life . Booking an appointment was the usual month out but 2 days before my date they cancelled all because they couldn't get a hold of my insurance even though they had a month. The visit with the dentist went great, but before my next appointment I get a denial on the charge, guess what 2 days before my next appointment they canceled , but wait there is more. Stay away from this place. .... Where can I start. It was about 2 years ago when I needed some grafting to be done so they had me do two teeth at that time. Fast forward about 6 months they told me that I own them 2K because they failed to read the fine prints that the insurance covers only one tooth at a time. Came here twice for abscesses tooth removal. Procedure was fine mostly until I was pressured into a bone graft without any information. Then I was sent home without any antibiotics after having puss leaking out of my mouth the entire process. Long story short I'm now at madigan hospital admitted for a blood infection and have a Picc line for IV antibiotics. I have been a patient here for about 5 years. They were great 5 years ago! Then slowly went downhill. The good dental techs slowly started leaving. Then the only dentist that could clean children's teeth (my son is 8), only worked on Saturday's....but they kept cancelling our appt! Not to mention, they kept charging the wrong insurance for our family and we continued to get bills for over a year due to them not charging the correct insurance. Initially wanted to schedule to establish care with this place because my husband also was going there and we just moved here to WA. First appt scheduled the girl told me it was gonna be friday at 3:30pm. So I left work early on friday and got there on time and was told I wasnt scheduled and that my appt was on thursday and I missed it already. My husband went to this dentist once in 2017 and stated that he would never go there again. The dentist tried to tell him he needed a lot of extra work and didn't even take care of the problem he went in for in the first place. My husband subsequently never went back. 2 years later, in 2019 I get a bill in the mail for $25 saying its a "Prior Charge/Payment Adjustment." They do not care about you!!!! Save your time and money, and go see Dr. Buttaro in Fife! I was going to gentle dental for 2 years with some issues in having pain after getting a cavity filled here and they always always disregarded my issue!!! Such an unpleasant place, they make you DREAD going to the dentist. After my very first visit with Dr. Buttaro she was immediately able to point out what the issue was and set up a plan to fix it. Do not waste your time coming here!!!!!!!
