I scheduled hair and makeup weeks in advance for an important photo shoot for a business I am launching. Everything was confirmed and while the hair person was there on time (and she was lovely) the make up artist wasn’t showing up. After 40 minutes I was starting to panic since I had a camera crew coming in an hour. I have tried the app over the last two years 6 times in two cities. In NYC I had a great experience both hair and make up team were on time, pleasant, and did an excellent job. In Boston, there have been with issues of lateness or not following style request (despite showing photographs of past blow out). I agree it would be a better app if there was a way to review publicly and request not to have a provider again ( you can request one you liked again but not the other way).
This company badly needs to update their app and add features. Leaving a tip on a package is difficult, adding the appointment to your calendar is impossible if you miss the first chance, it’s not intuitive… I could go on and on. But the beauticians have been great.

Trust, just don’t. It’s a scam. You think you may want to do something like this bc it’s seems like such an “easy” options, but trust me. This isn’t it. This app has ALL the issues. I booked an appointment, money was removed from my account, and no appointment was booked. They just took my money.
Once loved this service, now disappointed. The world is loud and toxic and not all people notice the noise. When I have in -home service, I do not want them reeking of hairspray. It's a luxury to pay for Glamsquad prices and be made-up in my home or workplace.It's also a privilege for a make-up artist to go into somebody's home, and to not consider the overpowering effect of perfumes and hairspray is a shortcoming that overrides the talent of the make-up artist.
