Would NOT recommend. My hair came out so dark and needs to be fully corrected.
Stylist never showed- Glamsquad didn’t even follow up to say she wasn’t coming. Zero communication and then I couldn’t get in touch w customer service. Help section on the app was awful
Booked appointment for a manicure someone called 15 minutes before appointment time to say manicurist had to cancel and someone would call me back same day to reschedule. It’s been 3 days and still haven’t heard anything! Women that called me to cancel also said I would receive $50 credit for the inconvenience but haven’t received anything from them.
Such a rip off, I got a membership and there are never any appointments availability and no wAy to see next open appointment. You just have to try every time and date combo until you find something open. Will delete the app once my membership is over.
Tried twice, both major disappointments, including booking a special occasion service for a major event. Hair full of product and not flattering or like sample photos. Pressured by stylists to tip cash / Venmo on top of 20% default included and client is required to cover parking in the city. Value isn’t there given disappointing results and gambling on stylist you get. I don’t plan to use again.

They are known to cancel at the last minute.
I scheduled hair and makeup weeks in advance for an important photo shoot for a business I am launching. Everything was confirmed and while the hair person was there on time (and she was lovely) the make up artist wasn’t showing up. After 40 minutes I was starting to panic since I had a camera crew coming in an hour. I have tried the app over the last two years 6 times in two cities. In NYC I had a great experience both hair and make up team were on time, pleasant, and did an excellent job. In Boston, there have been with issues of lateness or not following style request (despite showing photographs of past blow out). I agree it would be a better app if there was a way to review publicly and request not to have a provider again ( you can request one you liked again but not the other way).
