We recently had the opportunity to work with Pamela Gustafson with GSF on refinancing our home. Pamela was great to work with, was very responsive, and made the entire experience so fast and easy. We have never worked with a company so fast in processing our loan. We have gone thru this process many times and have never had such great customer service. I had an extremely positive experience with GSF Mortgage Corp from the beginning of the loan process to the end. My loan officer, Sharyn DeCarlo, was absolutely the most helpful, knowledgeable, and professional person that I have ever dealt with with refinancing of our home. Her customer service was commendable and I felt she went over and beyond what she needed to do to make sure that I was informed and understood the GSF refinancing process. Pam Gustafson, our loan officer, was wonderful. She answered all of our questions promptly and we were able to close within the month. Our closing costs were incredibly low and the rates were comparable. The company as a whole has been disappointing. 2+ months after closing our loan is still in limbo. We were told at closing that it was being sold to a certain company, which evidently fell through. Our homeowners insurance is due tomorrow. I sure hope it gets paid out of escrow... I had a great experience dealing with GSF Mortgage Corp. Our loan officer Pam Gustafson was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I was even able to call her late evening to ask her a question. She is a great asset to GSF. She is always available to answer your questions. If you leave her a message she calls you back immediatly. I am very satisfied with the service I have received. When I first started searching for mortgage options, I called a few lenders. I was disappointed in the almost bait-and-switch that most offered. They quoted a low rate but had high costs. I decided to go with GSF because they had a good rate and low costs During the process, the loan officer was very patient explaining the process and quick to return our phone calls. We were happy with the service and feel good about our choice.

My closing and purchase were one of the worst I've experienced. I have bought and sold homes in the past and this purchas has been the stress that keep on giving. GoMortgage submitted the wrong property address, sent the wrong address to the insurance company, and with that, the loan officer/processor did not catch this and I closed on the wrong address. My insurance has expired because the mortgage company did not issue payement to the insurance company from escrow because the address was incorrect. I am now struggling to g... read more

I had an awful experience with Alexa. She was referred to me by my lawyer, and she was explaining a few things- I had a question about an appraisal and when to use it- I was told we can get a new appraisal by another lender. As I said that she said with an attitude " Go to him then!" Unbelievable! Update: we were able to use the appraisal and we are in the refinance process. She told me I couldn’t have an appraisal. She was wrong.

I decided not to deal with Go Mortgage anymore. I had a bad experience with Jerry Spence. He called me and was extremely unprofessional, pushy, and rude then eventually he hung up on me because i didn't agree with what he wanted to do as he was forcing me to go forward with the pre-approval process against my will.
