This was the easiest, most up front mortgage transaction I have ever been through. Very knowledgeable with the different types of programs that would best suit my needs.
My closing and purchase were one of the worst I've experienced. I have bought and sold homes in the past and this purchas has been the stress that keep on giving. GoMortgage submitted the wrong property address, sent the wrong address to the insurance company, and with that, the loan officer/processor did not catch this and I closed on the wrong address. I had an awful experience with Alexa. She was referred to me by my lawyer, and she was explaining a few things- I had a question about an appraisal and when to use it- I was told we can get a new appraisal by another lender. As I said that she said with an attitude " Go to him then!" Unbelievable! Update: we were able to use the appraisal and we are in the refinance process. She told me I couldn’t have an appraisal. She was wrong.
I decided not to deal with Go Mortgage anymore. I had a bad experience with Jerry Spence. He called me and was extremely unprofessional, pushy, and rude then eventually he hung up on me because i didn't agree with what he wanted to do as he was forcing me to go forward with the pre-approval process against my will.

I’ll preface this with, yes , Doug did get my mortgage closed. That being said we are almost 3 months after the fact and they have contacted me several times asking me for redundant documents. I asked why this needed to be done and said I didn’t feel comfortable allowing random people access to my portfolio. After we closed with Josh, the refund from previous lender's escrow account was less than expected. Turns out, we were being told the "out of pocket costs" as a sum of the escrow refund and not having to pay for one month's mortgage. That was not disclosed up front and resulted in us pulling more money out of savings than we anticipated or wanted to. Please don't waste your time and energy. Over a year trying to set up a loan with him as I have a bit more going on than a normal buyer, what I got was a never changing request for paperwork, back and forth and outright misinformation more than once and never got a simple sorry and try to fix it or better explain the process. There are too many other professional companies to get a loan/re-financing through. Do NOT waste your time contacting Adam Deputy! If you're like me, he'll lead you onto believe he can help with re-financing (after pulling my perfect credit score TWICE - which anyone with good credit understands that multiple dings isn't preferable) and then he'll drop off the face of the planet.
