The worst mortgage company to deal with regarding a loan. First time I spoke w/Rich Obermiere (loan rep) fill out the application and give him my credit acct. to lock the rate, Didn't hear from Rich. 3 days later I contact Rich. He inform me he didn't lock rate is is no longer available. Few days later % rate went down, and a diferent mortgage comany give me an a good deal to refinance with them. My initial interaction with the folks at GSF was good enough. They contacted me within a reasonable amount of time and after a brief conversation, they locked my rate. After that point, it all went downhill. They asked me for a list of documents which I had to get back to them within a matter of a day or two. The list of documents that they required was both inaccurate and incomplete. I first contacted Sharyn DiCarlo at GSF through Zillow on May 12th. She seemed extremely knowledgeable and professional. After some initial discussions, I filled out an application and sent her two years of Federal tax forms along with some additional data on May 14th. I was told that my information would be sent off to the underwriters and that the underwriters would have an answer in three or four days.
