Great group of folks here. Diligent and competent. Without the help of Marty and his crew, we would NOT have gotten the home we wanted. Our pre-approval came quickly and we got the home we really wanted. Thanks to everyone at GSF, including Marty and Amber. Just remember, the overall process is long and do your homework BEFORE you apply for a mortgage so as to not do anything to hinder the process yourself.
Jim was great. Explained everything thoroughly, and walked us through the process step by step. Never had to leave a voicemail, and he always returned emails within a day. Jim made the mortgage application process simple, easy, and efficient.
He's super helpful about everything, did all the leg work for me, explained everything very thoroughly, and really went the extra mile for me. 10/10 I would very much recommend him to anyone who is unfamiliar with the process. He does this for fun, so you know he's on your side and will do his best to secure your interests.
My wife and I started down the re-fi path with a 15yr mortgage in mind. Once we started working with Jim, he ran the numbers (multiple times) and came back with a better option with a 30yr mortgage. Take the 30 yr terms, but pay equal to the 15yr terms and you'll pay it off even sooner. Getting our house paid off is a requirement for us to start looking at retirement options. Jim helped us keep that goal on track.
As this is the first house I have purchased I believe everything went smoothly. Pam Gustafson was great to work with. She answered all of are questions, and if there was something that "wasn't her job" we would have never known it. She put the time in to explain everything to us and worked to get the answers we needed. The only problem I can think of is we didn't go to her sooner to buy a house.
If you are in need of an experienced and friendly loan professional who can get the job done, look no further than Nathaniel Merrick. He was honest, professional, and treated me with great care and respect. My situation was unique, but Nathaniel was up to the challenge. He closed my loan in a timely manner and was able to get me an amazing rate. It seemed he was always on the clock to make sure everything ran smoothly and I appreciate his attention to detail. I would definitely call him again for future transactions.

As many curious homeowners, I was in frequent contact with Jim about the ins and outs of my mortgage on my new home. Jim always responded quickly, had a great tolerance for my questions and explained things to me in ways I could understand and make decisions with the information! the whole GSF team made navigating the mortgage process painless and Jim really went the extra mile in making sure I had the information I needed to feel good about the investment!
My experience with Pam was great! We had a few hiccups like I'm sure most people do through this process, but she made sure I was comfortable with what was going on and assured me things were going according to plan. She answered my questions as best as she could and seemed very dedicated to helping me out. She was very knowledgeable and knew what was going on through the process and informed me at every step. Sam is a pro and a no nonsense lender. He takes your basic information and is very honest with his quote and figures about the loan. He tells you right away after reviewing your credit report if you will qualify for a loan or not. He doesn't try to give you any false hope or changes the figures later on. I kind of knew from very first day how much will be my interest rate and how much I will have to bring at the closing table.
