It was very cozy. Pros: It was a cozy mountain cabin. Exactly what we wanted. The jacuzzi in the room was awesome. Location: Close to Big Bear lake. Minutes from downtown and ski resorts. It felt very cozy. The front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Great value. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Decent spot! It's close to downtown and the price is reasonable. If you haven't been to big bear beers can be pretty expensive $7.90 a pint for an IPA or $5.00 for a domestic ... if you are looking to save money buy your booze and food at the store. There are barbecues and a full kitchen. None of the food was that amazing at restaurants. However, it's a beautiful town and there is a lot of outdoor activities! really enjoyed staying here!

Cozy getaway Had an amazing time at golden bear cottages. Expedia made a mistake with our reservation but the staff upgraded our cottage. We had two families up here and everyone had a great time.

Great get away weekend Pros: It was great to be able to sit outside of our cabin, relax and enjoy the trees, birds and all the peaceful quiet. Location: The city of Big Bear Lake is minutes away, the Village for shopping, movies and local water slide and go carts. Awesome get away weekend, quiet location, the studio was spacious and gave the comforts of home. We were able to buy our food and prepare it because the studio kitchen provided dishes, stove/oven, microwave and refrigerator!

Perfect for families Overall we were very pleased that we chose Golden Bear. Our cottage was exactly the sort of thing we were after for a quiet relaxing weekend break. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had a large open fireplace in the front room. Also everything was provided in the kitchen and throughout the property. It was located only a short walk from the lake and a short drive from the village.

Very nice cabin.. quiet and cozy. I needed to get away from it for a few days.. So I did a last minute booking on Expedia. Got a very good rate for 5 days up in Big Bear. The cabin was small.. but just what I needed. The bathroom and shower were very clean.. as was the small kitchen.. and the bed was very comfortable. Great location.. about a 10 minute walk to the lake. I brought my bike so it was even easier to get around. Lots of great trails nearby. Nice Weekend Getaway Cabins! Pros: I loved the location and the atmosphere. Very pleasant. Cons: There was a large group of fraternity boys that were very noisy after midnight the both nights we stayed that had cabins spread out. Location: Lots and lots of outdoor activities to do! Lots of antique shopping and touristy shops to explore. We attended a benefit concert there in Big Bear Lake at the Cave. The cabin was close to both the venue and countless activities and restaurants. The staff was super polite.
