Horrible TICKS!!@@ Room had ticks and hotel staff refused to help. Would not recrecommend this place to my worst enemy. There were spider webs on the head board, and the room had a vaguely reminiscent smell of cigarettes. Did I metion the room HAD TICKS!!!! are kidding me ??? I didnt even spend the night there, I had to go to another hotel.. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE PLEASE!!!!!

Interestingly enough we have never had a tic in the 25 years I have been with this company. Also the mattress was just replaced less than a month ago along with the box spring and all of the sheets and comforter was changed prior to these guests checking in. the cabin was re checked after the guest checked out and no tic was found. Be AWARE I tried to cancel my Reservation 48 hours prior to my stay, I couldn't I had to do it 1 month in advance. Manager part owner rented the unit and I still didn't get my $350 dollars that they took out of my credit card. Lisa promise out of her good will she would give me a gift certificate to stay there. It has been a week after reservation and 2 weeks since I spoke to her and I have not received it. The gift certificate that was promised to you is sitting in an envelope on my desk since the guest cancelled. The guest hung up on me and said she did not want the gift certificate and she'd be writing a bad review. The guests untineas only re rented for one of the four nights therefore we actually lost money on the reservation. The cancellation rules are very strict with Expedia and we are required to follow them. We are sorry this guest had an unfavorable experience.
A 200 Dollar deposit was withdrawn from my account and it has been over a month and still have not been able to get it back. Hard to get someone one the phone.

Worst hotel! Don't waste your time here. This hotel has been nothing but a nightmare even after checking out. Beside the fact the the room had windows people can see inside your room from the outside giving you no privacy, the bed was absolutely horrible and throughout the night you either are kept up from the noisy heater or you turn it off and are cold. Cottages and amenities were sadly run down Description on expedia was completely different from the actual accommodations. Jetted tub was disgusting, kept spewing out black gunk even after running it several times. Play area was fun but needed to be cleaned and spruced up; everything was very run down and had seen better days

Quaint Cabins, But Horrible Billing Practices Pros: Low cost for the smaller cabins, the area was set up to accommodate a number of outdoor activities, and the cabin was better than camping in a tent. Cons: Upkeep and maintenance of property was lacking and whatever billing system they have set up desperately needs to change. Location: Southwest side of Big Bear, close to small shops. this is an incorrect review. Our billing practices consist of charging the guest 50% of the stay at the time of booking and the other 50% when they check-in. This guest was correctly charged for both halves. As far as their other complaints, special care was taken of them because it was their anniversary. I'm sorry that they did not enjoy themselves, however we were not aware of that while they were staying with us. They were kind and seemed happy the entire time.
