They attempted to deliver wrong items . Over charge from the first quote given. Don't deliver as promised. Customer service is horrible. No one knows what's going on. Don't use these movers . You will lose money .

We were told we’d get a written agreement on the price once the foreman walked our home. All good until they ran out of truck space. Nothing added, but they say we need ******more to take the rest of our stuff. Now our stuff is being held hostage because they are underhanded and dirty. Also, owner won’t contact me back. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

The client did have a written agreement to move goods; however, the client had more goods and actually expected the company to move almost twice as much stuff for the same price. You will always pay for what you move NOT what you say you are going to move to get an estimate. So many broken promises. First that it would be an organized, smooth move. As soon as I signed the contract, unable to reach my contact in customer service. When the movers arrived, I understand they were tired after being stuck in traffic for two hours. They are still a moving company so should know how to label and do an accurate inventory. Read my full review on ******, but long story short, they were the cheapest of 3, but didn’t actually come out to look at the items beforehand like the other two. They brought a truck that wouldn’t fit all of our household goods, so another trip was needed and they charged an extra ******, which came out to be the same as the other two. Heartbroken after using this company to move some of my valuables out-of-state. They were quick to respond and got my move set up and in action quickly. Assurances seemed real but they do not have a strong team to guarantee professional packing to reduce breakage or damage. Many items showed up damaged and completely bare of any packaging. They do not have a careful and dedicated team to aid in guaranteeing your valuables make it to you safely IF AT ALL. GGR lost 35 of my boxes filled with my clothes, art work, my kids toys, tools and all of my books and vinyl records! I recently used Golden Gate Relocation for my move, and it wasn't the best experience 1 - Lack of Communication: I had to constantly chase them for updates, and even then, I received minimal info 2 - Confusing Paperwork: The paperwork was extremely confusing. I had trouble understanding the terms of my agreement, and no one would get on the phone with me to help me understand the verbiage, which only added to my frustration. I just got a call back from Greg from golden gate saying “he would be in no rush” to give me MY products that I have paid for. In short he would not give me my products. STAY AWAY FROM THE WORSE MOVERS IN THE WORLD!!!!
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU! Golden Gate has no integrity or ethics. The whole moving process with them was a nightmare. When first speaking with Gabby for quotes, she told us our items should arrive in TX by 7 business days after our FADD. When we reached out after not receiving our items by the 7 business days, she changed her story and said 7 business days to leave their warehouse and that the contract states it could take up to 21 business days.
