I strongly advise against hiring this company under any circumstances. Unfortunately, my experience with them has led me to initiate legal action. In a nutshell, they provided an intentionally underestimated quote to entice me, made enticing promises, and required a nonrefundable downpayment. Do not book this moving company. I had originally booked them for a long distance move with priority/expedited shipping (for an extra fee). 2 days before the move I was informed they could not promise an expedited delivery and they would refund me if it didn’t arrive in the shorter window of time. I interviewed different companies to help with a move for my clients in the Palm Springs area. I tried to get clear answers on how the process worked, and should have walked away when things were not clear. I also had an arrangement that was supposedly cleared but then after the pick up happened, I was told to read my contract and that there’s no way they can accommodate. I used this company on a move from California to Florida. The first Major Red Flag is that they immediately ask you to leave them a review when they are finished picking up your items. Why anyone would leave a review when only half the job is done is beyond me, I assume thats why they have some positive ones. But I unfortunately quickly learned why they do that. Complement to my initial review and update: The Claim process is lengthy, complicated and not very friendly. I'm going through the process, third time submitting to a third party vendor who is not responsible for the move or the claim, only the process with GG, so the best hope is to get the services not provided back and the damages plus the stolen items either recovered or at the "insured" price. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST COMANY. In California interstate moving should get the permit from CA government while they don’t. And I suggest take a look at the reviews on BBB and TRUSTPILOT. Most of the reviews here are suspicious. The most recent ones on TRUSTPILOT are telling the true stories. 1. We used Golden State Relocation to move from California to Connecticut. Brian the sales guy we worked with suddenly had to have an "operation" the day we were to have a zoom meeting to get our final cost and never heard from him again and had to deal with random people to get set up.
