It was a brunch menu with not very many options. The poached eggs were totally boiled in appearance, the bacon was missing off of 1 plate, the service was horrible..and never once did a manager apologize or offer to assist the waitress with the numerous issues. They litefally had my husband scrape the eggs off of the muffin and let the ham get cold, waiting for new eggs. Avoid this place!

My order was incorrect- I paid for mushrooms and got onions instead. My French fries were stubs and looked like they had been fried twice- very greasy. My bread on the sandwich was soggy and the prime rib was tough. Overall, food was terrible and overpriced for what I received.
Hostess was extremely rude and not friendly. Our server was mediocre at best, took entirely too long to receive service and drinks. Luckily the food was AMAZING otherwise I would have left zero stars!

We started with nachos for an appetizer and wanted the barbecue pork. The manager said they don’t do that anymore so we got the chicken and it was about a spoonful to all of the cheese. Very disappointed the chicken was all in the middle and very bland.

Because the menus are on hard backs, and because the waitress placed a glass of wine directly behind the menu and so she knocked it over. She apologized but we were charged for the wine that was spilled. Then after she paid the bill, the waitress could not find the credit card and suggested we had misplaced it. The card was actually in the back! We have eaten there dozens of times. This time was dissapointing.

I requested a booth..but when we arrived someone that was seated at a table requested to be moved to a booth..so we were seated in the newer section at a half booth. The section was jam packed including a large group having a birthday party. Our servers response to our thank yous was a repeated response of " for sure"... Mid way through our dinner, diners began moving into our section while waiting for their tables. Children were playing, shouting. and doing cartwheels ( at their parents request) on the stage next to our tab... read more
We were seated upstairs, which was dark and overly AC'd. Onion soup was too salty and fried green tomatoes had too little tomato, too much batter, and were fairly tasteless. Service was totally fine.
Waiter came up to table did not introduce himself, very disengaged. Never asked how we would like meat prepared. Delivered food did not ask if we needed anything, had to get another waitress to assist. Brought us check while still eating and asked for us to pay the check just as I was finishing my dinner. No effort to be friendly or to provide a pleasant experience. Very disappointed. I hope this was just a bad day for this person and not how he deals with customers everyday.
We went at 12:45 on a Saturday to celebrate First Communion after Mass. Sadly, we had no idea that we were required to order off a brunch menu after 1:00 on Saturday. Two with egg allergies, two other who don’t eat eggs made it difficult to eat brunch there. Once the eggs were removed from the dishes the food was pretty sad. We ended up giving our kids our meals. Biscuits and gravy good though. We normally love Grindstone but this was a major disappointment as we had already had a celebration at breakfast, we just wanted the... read more
