Friend asked for salad with no tomatoes, or cucumbers, brought it with tomatoes and did not offer to take back to get another salad. When time to pay bill waitress brought all checks and did not have the pricing correct on the checks. We asked her to redo them. She came back with new slips that we could not sign do to NOT KNOWING HOW TO DO THAT?? We asked for Manager and he had no idea on how to do this either. They need an education on how to use to equipment.

Food was average nothing was great. Steak was very dry and over cooked. Was to be medium but was well done and very dry. Even with steak sauce it was dry.

Every time we have visited Grindstone Public House it has been a positive experience. This time, however, was NOT. The hostess didn’t welcome us, just asked if we had a reservation. Then proceeded to seat us with in silence. No engagement at all. Our server was a “low talker” who wasn’t interested in assisting us in lunch offerings in addition to the brunch. The Eggs Benedict that 2 of us ordered ended up as hard boiled eggs (which wasn’t the case in a prior visit). The waffle order was burned. The fellow who delivered our f... read more
Mother’s Day meal was fine. We all enjoyed the food. Service was slow but we were patient because our party of 9 were busy visiting. My husband noticed our sever approaching the table, he held up the portfolio containing the bill, and the next thing we saw was the portfolio sailing from his hand, hitting our grandson on the head, bouncing, knocking down our daughter’s wine glass, spilling a glass of water, and landing on the table. WOW! Server apologized but manager who witnessed the event said nothing. We received nothing a... read more

I have been to GPH once before and the food was to die for!! I was so excited knowing we were going back. Unfortunately it was not the same experience. We were served warm water when we arrived and asked several times for ice and waited about 20 minutes for it. I think we only got our water refilled once without having to track someone down. Food came out very late and it was so dry we hardly touched it. One person in our party ordered pasta and it was cold to the touch. I don’t even remember the waitresses name we saw her s... read more

The service was very slow, when I got my food the steak was over cooked (I asked for MR) and the Mac and cheese was cold. It’s like they forgot to warm it up before serving it. My mother ordered a salad and it was served without any dressing. They ended up bringing me a new dish however they decided to cook the steak rare so I wasn’t impressed with the cold center steak. Then my check arrived with out any compensation or apology.
We had reservations for the restaurant. We drove 30 minutes to the restaurant and when we arrived the restaurant was closed. We were hungry and looking forward to many items on the menu. We were very disappointed.

Hello! We're very sorry to hear that. We made the last minute call to close at 9PM on Saturday July 4th so our team could spend the rest of their holiday evening with their loved ones. We'd love to buy you an appetizer or dessert on your next visit to make it up to you! Thank you! Kelsey B. Manager, Grindstone Public House
Went here for first time to check it out. We were sat upstairs and it was so loud we could not hear each other. Not sure if it would have been better downstairs but it was super loud. I ordered scallops and sweet potato fries. Fries came out cold and soggy. I sent them back and second batch was better. The scallops are $26 and there were only 3 bacon wrapped. Scallops were done perfectly but it looked like such a small portion. Would have been nice to see something else on plate. I was still kind of hungry. My bf had chicken... read more
Formally from Noblesville, we went back for the hype of this place. There is NOTHING special about this place or the food. Save your time and money. Blugh! Definitely NOT kid friendly either, so prepare yourself. This was our first visit and we don’t see any reason to go back. Our server was pleasant and kind, but we don’t believe even she wanted to be there. Good luck.
