My only frustration is getting an experienced substitute when one of my caregivers is either out sick or on vacation.

With my current caregiver, my experience has been the best regarding all that I have had. She knows the routine and gets right to work. Her shower techniques are great!!

My mom and I were very grateful for our experience with Griswold Home Care. They were able to set us up with a carer for my mom with just a few days notice. Over the weeks that we needed the help, we worked with three different care providers. All three were excellent--kind, compassionate, cheerful, pleasant people. They provided not only services such as fixing lunch and folding laundry, but friendly and interesting companionship and conversation. My Mothers condition requires consistent and reliable care. With very few exceptions Griswold tries to do this on a daily basis. This is the main reason I have chosen to stay with them. They are also sensitive to the quality of caregivers that are assigned. With few exceptions most are outstanding.

Overall it was a very good experience. If it wasn't for Griswold, I wouldn't have been able to bring my husband home from the hospital. In the first few days, I was a little nervous because some of the caregivers didn't show up and I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to handle my husband because he was very confused and agitated. Kim and Melanie worked with me when I needed to find help. When I started to decrease hours that I didn't need help, they were very understanding and cancelled the caregivers.
