Other than some initial difficulties getting the schedule worked out the service has been absolutely fantastic. The Girswold office staff did an amazing job getting care for my mother-in-law lined up on what was very short notice. The care givers have been excellent as well and having them has enabled us to allow my mother-in-law to recover from major surgery in her own home instead of going to a rehab facility. My mother-in-law was being discharged from rehab...wasn't certain what to expect regarding her condition, since we were unable to visit in rehab. The office staff was responsive and generally helpful. We had experience with four Griswold caregivers. One, Nancy Holley, was absolutely outstanding. The performance of two others was adequate. The fourth caregiver was totally unprepared for the complexity of the situation, and demonstrably overwhelmed and out of her depth.
