A few problems that seemed avoidable. Had trouble opening the room, which turned out to be bad batteries in the door handle. TV remote didn't work properly. Heater/AC was both noisy but also missing the control panel cover, so had to guess how to get heat on. Toilet had instructions taped on on how to fix it. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the usual. Appreciate the coffee in the lobby.
The main entrance door was broken most of the time. I overheard an experienced the staff being rude to numerous guests experiencing difficulties with their stay. I heard and experienced room cleanliness issues.
No Thanks Ridiculously overpriced for the condition. 1 step above a Super 8 motel, yet the room cost $570 through Hotels.com. Would not recommend unless you're paying $150 or less.
The surrounding of this hotel smell horrible. It is in the worst spot of Chelsea. Only reasonable thing is breakfast with a smily lady. The rest of the personnel is impolite. I paid 420 chf per night and the value of the room is 80chf. Old style, air conditioning with holes in the wall, moquette so dirty as never seen, corridors redone last time in 1960ies. Front desk staff service was terrible. Room conditions were below average, closet door broken, not clean, worn out mattress. Main room door got stuck, was hard to open. Coffee was good.
My booking was canceled When we checked in cuz I checked in next morning but I informed my arrival time thru Hotels.com. But they didn’t receive any information…front desk said next time make sure I call hotel.. they sound like my fault….rude attitude. fortunately they able to provide room for me. But the room has only 1 bed and I told front desk I booked 2 queen beds room but they said your booking is only 1bed room in the system…. Room Wifi never work. Ice machine is broken. Definitely I won’t stay here again.
