Very clean and comfortable hotel and quiet
Clean and comfortable. Convenient location. Helpful staff.

We have stayed at this property many times over the years . It is not the same place it once was . The property has one dimly lit Hampton Inn sign . Three flood lights and all landscaping lights were out . The breakfast was so poorly done , I stopped going . They use to have fresh baked cookies in the afternoon, gone . Room service was every other day . For the price the value is not there .
Not up to par We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and been extremely satisfied. Not this time. Pros: 1. Check in - Exceptional 2. Special accommodations met per my requests. 3. Was in Rm two zero four. Overlooks entrance canopy. Was quiet, especially for being over main entrance and facing street. Cons: 1. AC did not cool well. Room was a little too warm 2. Overall things were as expected, high price for the quality of the hotel and room, but expected in NYC and for the location (which was very convenient by subway stops!). What brought my review down was the fact that when I booked on Expedia it guaranteed free change or cancellation prior to midnight the day before check in but when we called into the hotel they did not honor that and said it was 24 hours prior to check in — stating that it’s known that the hotel and Expedia’s policies are different, which is pretty unaccepta... read more
