Great physical space. Lacking hospitality. Location: Rode bikes, shopped, hired a guide for a tour of the island, reconnected with friends we had not seen in over 20 years. I expected better service at such an expensive hotel. No one helped us with luggage when we arrived, and we had to carry up stairs into the hotel and then from the 3rd to 4th floor ( no elevator at that level). Great hotel! Pros: Restaurant, fireplace, staff Cons: Room noise Location: Great location, easy to walk to numerous restaurants and shopping. Beautiful view We loved our stay at the Harbor View. The hotel was clean and very accommodating. The staff was very helpful especially the concierge who gave us directions for a self guided tour of the island, which we loved. Great location,Housekeeping disappointment Very disappointed with housekeeping as my room for two consecutive days didn't get cleaned. The first day I did get service after phoning the desk but the second day they were so shorthanded they didn't even have anyone to service the room. I have stayed at this hotel before, however I was extremely disappointed and made my feelings known to the front desk. howeverI got a lot of sorry but there was no adjustment made to my bill to compensate.
