Best view in town. Pros: View in unparalleled. Sweeping views of Edgartown lighthouse and harbor from front porch. Cons: Hard to regulate heat. Hotel communication could have been better. Beautiful location, but our room needed some TLC. Pros: Location Cons: Our room was dated and a little grimy. Location: Excellent location. Close to shops, restaurants, waterfront, etc. Easy access to the bus as well to visit other areas of the island. Overall, our experience was very nice. The hotel is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. We stayed in one of the cottages. Reasonable but not perfect The hotel has a great porch and lobby. The staff were very polite. The rooms were comfortable, but the bathrooms could use an overhaul (old, falling apart). Likewise, the hallways could use a new coat of paint and/or recarpeting. Not a bad choice if your visiting the vineyard, but could use a bit of renovation.
