Overall hotel was very nice. The room was very warm and it was difficult to sleep because of this. We asked for some assistance with planning a tour of the Island but the individual helping us never followed up with our request. It is a beautiful hotel and location and we would certainly stay there again.
Great hotel with awesome views. Pros: Accommodations, pleasant staff. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Harbor View and couldn't be more pleased. Our room was everything we expected and more. Clean and nicely furnished with great view of the Edgartown Lighthouse. The fireplace in the main lobby was a wonderful place to warm up by after being out on a rather chilly day. The front porch was just as nice to relax and enjoy the view.
Family event; requested location Pros: Great staff; casual 'elegance'; no pretenses; very friendly. Cons: Most hotels always have VERY soft pillows. It would be great if at least one 'extra' pillow was a firmer style/variety. Location: It was off-season when we visited (end of March) so unfortunately a lot of 'usual' Vineyard activities were closed. A New England Beauty Location: Pubs and shopping close by. Yatch club across the street. Beautiful building and surrounding neighborhood. The beach in front of the hotel is a pleasure to walk on a sunny day such as what we had. Great Sunday brunch and extraordinary service.
Charming but... Cons: Laundry service. And ocean view should be interpreted carefully, the hotel has small windows. This hotel is charming. No laundry service was surprising, however, given the price.
Excellent Place My wife and I made a quick trip to Martha’s Vineyard to visit family. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. No complaints or problems. We arrived late in the evening and the woman at the front desk helped us find one of the few restaurants that were open late in January. Yes, I would stay there again.
