Great location. Beautiful views! I'm so happy I chose the Harborview for our stay instead of the other hotel I was considering in Vineyard Haven! Edgartown is beautiful and the Harborview with it's inviting front porch, beautiful foyer and lobby area, bar and windowed restaurant are lovely. I booked late and was not able to book an ocean view room but I would recommend it if you can. Ours was in the back of the main hotel and was updated and nicely decorated. Nice rooms but staff lack communication Pros: Great location. Cons: Staff could be more honest and communicate more effectively to guests. We arrived early and asked to check in early as the hotel has a 4 pm check in time. The front desk told us that they would call us when our room was ready. We noticed a lot of other groups checked in prior to us and receiving calls around 2:30. By 3:30 we asked the front desk about our status and to our surprise it was ready a while for some time. BEST HOTEL ON MARTHA'S VINEYARD! THIS HOTEL WAS SIMPLY MARVELOUS. BEAUTIFUL, ELEGANT AND EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!! WE WILL BE GOING BACK......IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! NICE POOL AREA AND GREAT RESTAURANTS TOO! SITUATED ACROSS FROM THE HARBOR WHERE SOME OF THE MOVIE "JAWS" WAS FILMED! FREE STARBUCKS COFFEE EVERY MORNING!
