Harbor View Hotel - exceptional We spent 3 nights over a long weekend there during April vacation. The hotel and amenities are all first rate. The staff was very cordial, friendly and anxious to please. Downtown restaurants and shopping are a short walk away; beaches and the ferry to Chappaquiddick are also close at hand. We stayed in one of the Captain's Cottages and were very pleased with our room, which came with its own private deck. Have always wanted to stay there--it didn't disappoint. THE hotel in Martha's Vineyard has always been the Harbor View, with its vistas, its wrap around porch, its elegant dining room and comfortable, comfortable rooms.

Harbor View Hotel Can't say enough goods things about it! Accommodating,friendly staff; clean, bright, large rooms with nice bathroom amenities and beautiful views at this wonderful New England hotel. Excellent, exceptional Chef and menus. Food was delicious, giving it 4 stars. Waitstaff was attentive and professional. Would return again and again.

The ONLY place to stay when you hit the Sweet V. We love the harbor view. It's the only place we will stay at when we visit Martha's Vineyard. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out. The pool is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. The service is top notch and very welcoming. You feel like your amongst old friends when you are there. That's how nice the entire staff is.
