Really great Hotel We stayed for two nights at the Harbor View with a small child. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, offering to get a cot, help with luggage, all saying hi during the stay. Parking is easy, simple walk up the road to town, everything we hoped for, even a specula plate of chocolates delivered to the room as a birthday gift from the hotel
Lovely location, lovely view This hotel was very nice, very comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Staff really helpful and the concierge recommended a lovely self drive trip round the island. After moving on to the mainland we discovered that we had left some coats behind and staff there arranged for posting bake to U.K. this Hotel is a must, if staying in Edgartown.

Great location, but rooms are tired.
Harbor View Fabulous hotel. Clean, quaint and staff is friendly and accomodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The view of the water is fantastic. Short walk to shops and restraunts. We hope to come back soon.
Very Nice Hotel This is a first class hotel. Our room was in the main building. It was a small room but very nicely appointed. The location and view of the ocean is "picture postcard." The hotel restaurant food and service were excellent. The resort also offers rooms in cottages separate from the main building. Rates are what one can expect at the height of the season in Martha's Vineyard. We have stayed here many times and it is always our first choice.
Great experience
Too bad about the delay We arrived at the hotel at around 11AM and were told that that check in time was not officially for a few hours. The gentleman at the desk said that this was not a problem, however because housekeeping could clean the room and get us in it very soon. We told them that we were in Edgartown for an afternoon wedding and appreciated the effort. We went out to lunch after being told that we would be called on our cell phone when the room was ready.
