Good Stay with a good view The Harbor View is a lovely place to go. It is a very relaxing place to be. The rocking chairs on the porch are wonderful to rest and relax in. The food at the restaurant there is unbelievable. The best clam chowder I have ever had at Henry's. The only negative was our room was not made up for us when we got back at 5pm. They half blamed us instead of just making things right. I would stay here again.
Wonderful Harbor View Hotel We arrived on Thursday afternoon and our room was ready for us about an hour early. The parking is very convenient and the room was nice and clean with two wonderful feather comforters to sleep upon and cover up with. The location is overlooking the ocean with a lighthouse and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and the ferry to Chappy. Harbor View EdgarTown Offered an upgrade on arrival at a reduced rate. The room was large, HOWEVER a large air conditioner for downstairs was located below the room and the noise was LOUD and constant all night. Very annoying. Concierge and staff very helpful. Asking for a cup of tea with breakfast was challenging - drinking coffee would have been easier to do - but not what international guests expect at such a destination. Har view in martha's vineyard We loved the location, restaurant and friendly staff. My only complain was that our room was a little musty smelling.
Beautiful location with rocking chairs on porch overlooking the harbor and lighthouse.
October Visit to Edgartown Loved the Harbor View Hotel; excellent location. Great breakfast and restaurant/bar. Easy to walk to the beach or downtown Edgartown.
