Food not as good as usual. Had guests with us that hadn’t been there before and we had told them how much we like Haven. So a little disappointed.
I dined out on the patio; unfortunately flies were all over the food. Ultimately several bees also attacked.
Haven is in our neighborhood and so eat there regularly. Sunday brunch yesterday was not as good as usual, and this may have something to do with the service. My friend and I were completely ignored most of the time. We actually had to yell out to get our waiter's attention - never had that type of service before. The food was not outstanding. New chef perhaps? May not go back.
The food was good snd ambiance were great, but the service left a great deal to be desired. Our waitress was not warm snd helpful. She brought the bill without asking if we wanted to order dessert. I had told them we would be celebrating a birthday and the last time they brought a slice of carrot cake for my husband’s birthday. Nothing was mentioned bout a birthday till I brought it up! Our server would not work with my husband, who does not eat eggs. We chose Haven for brunch because your website menu had breakfast sides and a lunch menu. When my husband asked to order a side of bacon and fruit, our server said Haven was serving only off the Easter Brunch menu, as it was printed. Noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation.
Food was mediocre. Disappointing. Carrot cake was small and served cold. Very overpriced. Chairs are hard.
We arrived on time for our reservation and were told there would be an additional 20-30 minute wait. It was twenty degrees outside, and the patrons on the half full patio were still wearing their coats. Thirty three minutes after our reservation time, we were seated inside. When my dinner arrived, there was a bug crawling on my pasta. The waitress (Tiffany) apologized and quickly had it replaced.
Our waiter and the manager were very attentive. It’s a great restaurant.
