Shrimp over cooked, gumbo desperately needed salt
The Haven was not crowded on New Year’s Eve. Crab bisque was good. Everything else was mediocre. Prices were high including $5.50 for 2 rolls and 2 wedges of cornbread. I don’t mind paying extra for a holiday meal but this was not good. The service staff was good not great
they close at 3pm! and open table gave me a reservation at 2:45pm there should have been a note indicating this!! we didn’t stay and had to find another place which was quite inconvenient. i think this is open table responsibility too because it keeps showing reservations thru their closing -whe. they re-open at 5pm and the bar doesn’t let your stay
Nice place inside but the food is mediocre to poor. Over seasoned on all fronts. If you are dining inside and folks at the bar are watching a game forget it.
Every table full. Wait staff slow. Poor wine selection. Food good. Gave us cake for our anniversary but put it on the bill.
I use to love Haven for the food and outside dining space. I have been twice in last 10days. Shrimp soft, small and mealy. Lettuce in salad wilted, small pieces of bacon and very small amt of feta!!!! What has happened. Still same prices - not cheap - but now no quality. Does the owner know? I think he would be mortified. Yesterday service very poor. I am shocked!
First of all we had an amazing server in Anthony! He could not have been more attentive! Usually love to sit outside but the music is so loud we could never have visited with our friends if we sat outside. Frankly, it is time for a NEW menu. Everything on the menu has been there for years. No yellow tomato gazpacho yesterday. 🤷♀️ Overall, while the restaurant has been our “go to” I think we need yo take a break for a while! Sorry!!!!!
I am usually a huge fan of Haven. However, we had an 8:00 pm reservation last night. We arrived at 7:50 pm and were told it would be an HOUR to get seated. This is completely unacceptable and we had to go somewhere else for dinner.
Love the location and restaurant, the food is mediocre at best.
