When I had scheduled an appointment with Dr Boyd, I expected Dr. Boyd to do the examination. When in the examination room, I was ask if it was all right for a nurse practitioner to be in the room also. As it turns out my breast exam was done by the nurse practitioner. I just feel it is misleading to make an appointment with the doctor and have the exam performed by a nurse practitioner once you get there.

Normally, I don't write reviews. HWH located at 1170 Fortune Blvd, in Shiloh, is a mess. This place lacks professionalism and communication amongst staff and patients. This place doesn't care about your health, please stay away.

I made my appointment for waterloo on a friday afternoon. They knew I needed a glucose test, along with my regular appointment. A week in a half before my appointment, they canceled on me. Im scrambling to get another appointment and im told that waterloo pnly does glucose testing on Wednesday mornings. Well why did they make my appointment at waterloo for a time that I couldn't do everything I needed to do? So I get an appointment for Shiloh. The only reason I am patient here is for Dr Dominick. On Monday I spoke with a nurse regarding the reason I was coming in and told her I was unsure if I needed the appointment and the reasoning, she assured me that I still needed to come in (I absolutely did not need to and we r/s for two weeks out) When I got to the office they were under the impression they were taking my iud out (mind you they took it out 3 weeks ago and I even told the nurse that on Monday AND it is in my chart), the lab tech called me back for labs and ... read more

Kourtney Hughey has no bedside manner. That was my first time seeing her because the actual doctors I usually see weren’t available for an appointment. I wasn’t allowed to come in for an ultrasound until after 8 weeks which doesn’t make sense to me. Then when I got the ultrasound I wasn’t told anything about my baby, my uterus, or ovaries despite the ultrasound. The appointment went great. The doctor listened to my concerns. He told me that he was sending me a prescription into the pharmacy. This was on a Monday. By Friday there was no prescription still and I was hung up on twice when I called to see what was going on. I had to start those pills on a Saturday to catch my cycle in time. Needless to say I will be finding a new doctors office. Twice in a week by 2 different nurses. That’s beyond crazy. If you don’t like your job then leave it
