Jasmin was wonderful…front desk has no privacy and one young lady was loud and rude

Couldn’t do nothing for me and schedule my appointment under a nurse and not a MD and I told them wht I was coming in for. This the second time this has happened to me. Now I gotta wait Two weeks jt to see a MD when I could have seen them yesterday.

Communication I believe that you need to improve on it and communication knowing patient's history before you just haul off and take out their insides

They couldn't examine me because i've never had sex before. This was very unproductive.

My pain is dismissed everytime I go in. It seems to be a theme. And it seems to be a theme upon women of color in particular. Black women's pain is usually historically downplayed. I feel like that it what is happening to me and my concerns. I came in with new symptoms and an older red headed nurse TOLD ME it was period pain. I'm not convinced that things aren't over looked in my care because I am black and because I say I'm in pain without something obvious. The only thing good about by visit was the online check in. I was called prior to my visit by staff attempting to cancel my visit. I had a referral from Heartland Women’s Health in Waterloo, IL to Dr. Boyd in Shiloh, IL for a consult for a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis due to my severe pelvic pain. I separately had another appt for a repeat ultrasound on 8/22. I explain the 2 event were separate, but staff was rude and kept repeating they needed an ultrasound. I waited an hour and then was told I couldn’t have another Colposcope for 3 more months. I explained that I wasn’t there for a Colposcope but for a Pap smear. It didn’t seem to sink in and was told to reschedule. I tried to explain that the doctor and I discussed this at my last visit. She gave me the option of repeating the Colposcope or doing the Pap smear in a year. I asked if I could do the Pap smear in 6 months and she agreed. I had an appointment & was told to undress was left in the room waiting for doctor for 2hrs & no one came.
