I visited this place 5 yrs ago with the anticipation that my 1st experience would not repeat itself. We chose this place for my cousins Birthday. First! The waitress was very nonchalant and cold like the food. The food was brought to the table COLD not even luke warm. We were over charged for our food and the response from the waitress "I will give you the difference" Note! She never did. I will never patronize or recommend this establishment again
Whatever you do, do not eat here. Myself and 3 others have gotten food poisoning at separate times over the last year and a half from their food. Their food is subpar anyways so it's not even worth the risk.

Hero by HG is a sports bar that benefits from nailing the first rule of real estate: location, location, location. Located right outside the American Airlines Center at PNC Plaza across from the statue of Dirk, Hero is a great place to go before and during a Dallas Mavericks or Stars Game. Everything was fine up until the Ohio State-Texas game ended and then the staff decided to close 90 min early and kick everyone out. Literally had food that wasnt even close to finished taken away. Couldn't finish our drinks. Just kicked out for no reason whatsoever other than they decided to close early, a sports bar, right after the game ended.
Location Just outside American Airlines Center, Dallas Parking Take the DART and walk Service Outstanding Menu Note-happy hour menus-off season We had the tuna tostadas-loaded. The salad kept on going-we shared and had to get a to go container. Summary New fav sports bar Dallas downtown. See you there!

So I don't give out many 5 stars. This is a great sports bar for many reasons. The location is prime!!!! Right by AAC. The service is pretty quick even when busy. The place is HUGE so usually no waits. The food is solid even for bar food. It's a great place to watch a game....tvs and screens all over the place. Finally, things are a bit pricey but reasonable considering all the other factors. This is our goto place for any events in the area. Went before the stars game Monday Dec 16th. Food was spot on and pricing was at expected price for downtown. I got the Cowboy Mule and loved it. Only negative was how hot the temperature was. I was sweating during my meal.

Great for pre concert drinks and food at AAC. Very spacious and lots of different rooms, some with games. Food tastes good and the service is fast and efficient.

This sports bar right by the AA center is crazy. My friends and I popped in after the Dallas Stars game and got drinks while watching multiple college football games and multiple screens. It's packed, but servers manage to come and ask every table for drink orders on a consistent basis. Kudos to them. Didn't get food so can't comment on that, but this seems like the spot to be for pregame and postgame.
