Hero by HG is a massive indoor outdoor restaurant bar venue focusing on farm fresh food and drinks. They are located off the main entrance in by the American Airlines Center. This is a perfect place to attend a d pregame before catching a Maverick game, a Stars game, or even a concert. The bar sits right in the AAC area, and you can't miss it with the big lighted signs in front of the bar. We came here before a Stars game to get some quick drinks and were serviced at the outside bar. The place was packed with Stars fans wear... read more

I'll start with the good. Right next to American Airlines Arena & nearby hotels. Tons of tvs everywhere. Clean and nice design layout. The meh. The food was okay. The cheese fries had a queso on them that were really good so I would recommend those. The Dirty South chicken sandwich was just two chicken tenders with some honey butter and pickles on a bun. The chicken was fried OK and the honey butter was decent but not what I would consider a chicken sandwich since it was just tenders and not an actual chicken breast. The bur... read more

Service was good overall, even though the host was not all that impressive, my server made up for it. I tried the gluten free strips and they lived up to the hype. They were very tasty and fresh. Nothing to complain about on the food front.

Place sucks. Come here all the time during non-events (i.e. random workday for lunch) when the place is empty and the staff just doesn't give a damn. Three people at the front desk who literally don't say anything when you walk in. Their lives revolve around ignoring customers in little clusters. Annoyed when you...ya know...ask them to do their jobs. . Pissy, crabby, disinterested. Just go to black tap next door. Way better. Or Chopshop.

An Espresso Martini served in a small plastic cup. More of a shot than a cocktail. Anywhere else, and for that price, it would have been a full serving in a martini glass.

Been here quite a few games to watch different sporting events. Tons of seating, multiple bars, plenty of TVs and a massive projector in the back room. Staff are great and service is always solid. This time I went for a rangers World Series game and I decided to get dinner. I ordered the Buffalo popcorn chicken and the deluxe burger. Popcorn chicken had a nice crunch and crispy exterior and tender juicy chicken inside. The deluxe burger was damn good. Soft sesame bun, juicy patty cooked perfectly medium rare/medium, nice cru... read more

Not a bad spot to grab a bite! Right in the heart of the pregame festivities for the stars game we were about to attend. Service- Service was average, nothing stellar, nothing beyond the minimum. Ambiance- Tons of TV's to catch the many events happening. Unfortunately lots of seats on the patio but after requesting, we were denied. Not sure why, there was atleast 5 open. Food- ended up going with the chicken bowl option. Surprised that it came on a plate but the broccoli and chicken was cooked wonderfully and we enjoyed a ni... read more

Everything about this place is well done. The hostess was polite and efficient. Our waiter, Sebastian, was so efficient that our drinks were delivered while we were still talking to him. Our order was well prepared, quickly delivered table side, and absolutely delicious. A lot of times at places located outside of major venues, you are paying for the view, or the atmosphere. Not here, you are paying for the food and the service. Highly recommend.
