Loved this on first impression. Beautiful design, amenities, grounds, furnishings, etc., the potential was enormous. Moved in and was excited to spend my college days and nights hanging. Terrible management. They will overcharge you and then lie to get out of refunding you. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
If I could give this a negative number I would. This place is horrible! The people in the office aren't helpful at all especially the the property manager she has no clue what she's doing or how to deal with people. They don't return phone calls, lie, and are extremely rude. If you see a bad review seriously don't look past it. I moved out and they're still charging me for things they said they wouldn't. Why isn’t there a negative 10 star option? Not only is the place built poorly causing so many issues but the management or should I say managements have all been awful to deal with. I had mold growing on my bathroom ceiling for months before they decided to finally come fix it, and by fix it I mean they simply painted over it. Unless you're an undergrad who likes to party, stay away from this place. It's incredibly noisy, my neighbors were messy and inconsiderate, and they blatantly overcharge for electricity. Also, avoid getting a place near the shuttle if you want to sleep before 2am Thursday through Sunday. The study room was nice but there's an apartment above it which makes it almost unusable, and the computers and printer NEVER worked. Do not live in Highland square. They lose packages and all of your mail. The management changes every other day and none of them know what they are doing. This is the worst place in Oxford I have ever lived, and I have lived in Oxford for five years. Do not waste your money on this place. Me and my other 3 roommates will not be living here again.
Dear highland square please stop sending maintenance to my house to fix random crap that is broken, especially when it's at 8 am and I worked till 2 last night. Idiot spent 20 minutes changing the lock on my door while I was laying in bed and my lock worked perfectly fine. It's great to have a good maintenance staff but not if you don't need them.

Hey Jamison, We apologize for the inconvenience. Maintenance is replacing all old deadbolts on all Grove Hill home front and rear entries with new smart key deadbolts, in additional to installing keyed locks on all bedrooms doors.
