Long time Expedia user and this was my first time upon check in being told by front desk that they couldn’t verify proof of payment from Expedia, even with my presenting them the Expedia receipt and proof of payment from my bank. Thus their solution was for me to pay a rate 1.5x higher than I paid and then reach out to Expedia to have them correct with hotel. Hotels.com fails again. I am yet again dissatisfied with hotels.com. I was charged an additional 688.82 after reserving this room and did not receive an accurate or itemized receipt. I travel for business and require accurate and itemized receipts for expense reporting. This is not uncommon, so it is very disappointing that hotels.com cannot provide this.

The first room I was checked in was smelling like cigarettes and by no means wasn’t cleaned after the previous stay. When I came back to the reception, instead of apologies and a key to a different room, I was given an attitude for being “picky”. When I tried to buy a bottle of water later on the same day, I’ve learned they had charges on my room already from someone else (they admitted it was a mistake on their part). Big mess

We specifically choose this hotel because it was listed as having onsite parking. Upon arrival, we learned that they no longer had parking and we had to use a paid lot 4-5 blocks away that cost $175 for 2 days of parking.

Location only positive Service was horrible - front desk rude and not helpful (engaged with multiple people). Also saw interactions with other guests that was rude as well. Bad communication on fees and charges - had to ask vs being proactively communicated. Rooms were not like pictures - old, dated, and not comfortable. Breakfast not available via restaurant that was still in the description and so had open area of coffee and stale muffins.

I was really excited to stay at this Hotel, and if you are in the city for an event or to generally be in this area, the location is really amazing. My husband and I drove from Philly and were lucky enough to find an awesome parking spot around the corner with no issues. The first impression of hotel itself was the smell, it smelled really *clean* and that was reassuring, the front desk was also really nice. Never coming back The manager of the hotel is rude to people. He yells when he tries explaining something, I felt his manners and overall attitude was rude. The hotel has no restaurant and just a little store with very basic needs. In order for staff to clean your room, you need to ask for it 24hrs before, which means that you have to specify when you check in that you want them to clean your room if your stay is longer than a night.
