Restaurant was closed for refurbishment. I was not told of this at time of booking even though breakfast was offered. Would have gone elsewhere. This is extremely poor. After a long day sightseeing with our young daughter we needed this facility to avoid traipsing around looking for something to eat after a ten mile hike around Manhattan. Neither Expedia nor Hilton informed us until check in. Staff polite and pillows comfy.
No coffee We got there and a room wasn’t ready. They held out bags. Bathrooms in hotel were all locked except one and there was no toilet paper. The water was out and we were thirsty. The pot and cigarette smoke in our hallway was terrible. The beds were okay. The next morning breakfast wasn’t ready. We had to go so we ran upstairs to get ready and then came down ten minutes later and the coffee was out. SO NO a COFFEE and breakfast was 15 minutes late. Wery small room for 4 people. Window facing a Wall and a chimney…
Received email prior to check in stating they do not have any parking even though they advertise that they do for $50 a day, had to park in a garage blocks away for a lot more money then when checking in after it being to late they say they do have validated parking and when told about email i received from them they said it was wrong even though i showed them the email, elevator was broke so we had to go down before we could even go up, room was clean and it was a nice area
Many housekeeping issues but location convenient Had 2 rooms. One was for my daughter and her family and we had ordered 2 cribs. When we fot to the room there were no cribs. We had to call twice until they brought cribs and then they had to make a third trip as they sidnt bring sheets. Itvwas 8pm and with a 6 month ikd and a 3 year ild it was very trying as it was getting kate and past their bedtime. Also housekeeping took their soap and never refilled it.
