Of all the choices there are this one does not come with a free shuttle or a free breakfast. This was not clear and I waited for one hour in the hotel shuttle area. No one would pick up the phone when I called to see about the shuttle. Went to the have a bite to eat and the cook in the back was shouting obscenities from the kitchen...this went on for 30 minutes. No one seemed to be in a position to tell him to stop because he can be heard in the dininig room.
I waited an hour in the freezing cold for the airport shuttle. Only to find out shuttles were not running. No answer at hotel to call about the promised ground transportation that was included. Went to hotel restaurant and the white time I ate I could hear the cook in the back shouting obscenities. No other staff seemed to even notice or care that people could hear all the shouting. This went on for 40 min. My burger was horrible charges extra for lettuce. And it was $25 burger (no fries). Will never go back to this property... read more
Arrived late night in JFK, the phone to call the hotel to request for free shuttle doesnt work, called hotel, the guy in reception said if i have a US cell number he will call a lyft for me because their shuttle service is basically non existent, well doh im from overseas so i dont have a US number. Good things: convenient location to JFK; shuttle service; restaurant. Friendly shuttle's drivers and concierge. Unfortunate things: The hotel is not well managed or must be understaffed. I called over 10 times to get a shuttle to pick me up and could not reach the help desk so I had to contact Sales to get transferred to the help desk. The hotel voice message is outdated as it states that due to covid there is no shuttle service. Please update your phone message. My room did not have hot water. Property was run-down and did not feel safe.
Surprised that I had to pay for onsite parking and rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis unless requested. These issues should be made explicitly clear prior to or at the time of the stay. Hotel invoice was not automatically sent to my email and I had to call twice to have that done. The servers at the bar, whether in the morning or the evening, were very pleasant and helpful. Overall though the stay was disappointing!!
Staff were not helpful then the service in the restaurant was bad as waiter very unfriendly and making some funny faces when it took a while for us to make up our mind on what to order.
