One Star printer had to be returned power problems
No COLOR! The printer is good, light and comfortable. BUT YOU DIDN'T MENTION THAT IT CANNOT PRINT IN COLOR. THIS PRINTER ONLY PRINTS IN BLACK AND WHITE, WHICH IS VERY BAD!!!
Broke after 6 months. This broke after 6 months. I called Brother. There was a paper jam that could not be fixed . I was told I would have to wait indefinitely for them to send me a refurbished machine WITHOUT the drum . (The drum is under warranty for only 3 months) I had to take it to be repaired locally by a Brother authorized repair firm. Brother paid for the repair.
Printer creases first 4 or 5 sheets of a print ... Printer creases first 4 or 5 sheets of a print job. Returned printer and replacement did the same thing. Returned replacement for a refund.
A real disappointment. I am using this printer on an iMac and a MacBook. I have never been able to get quality printing from it. Very light print regardless of high resolution settings. I had many chats and emails with Brother personnel. Nothing they suggested worked. They have no idea what is wrong but they claim the printer is doing what it is supposed to do. I am going to have to trash this printer and buy something else. A real disappointment.
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MACS!! Received the printer and upon setup that this model printer is not compatible with OS Sierra 10.12. Unacceptable and very frustrating.
Not new This printer was NOT new. Arrived with paper and toner still installed.
No more replacing ink carts! Replaced a color inkjet (Canon MG6120) that was constantly out of one ink tank or another. Cost per sheet on this printer comes out to be between 1.7c and 2.2c, inclusive of drum and toner costs. The variance comes from which toner refill you get. The cost on the color inkjet was significantly higher at just under 5c per sheet.
Nice Printing with Black Ink Only The title really should be updated to make it more obvious and very clear that this is black ink only. The set up was easy and the printing is crisp and clear. I need very small font printed and to be legible at as low as 6, 5, and 4 font size and this works great for that; I own two inkjet printers and for those font sizes the low cost printer completely fails at that task and the more expensive one is okay.
